EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -NHL commissioner Gary Bettman harshly criticized Sean Avery on Tuesday, calling the combative forward's crude remark about ex-girlfriends dating other ice hockey players offensive and disgusting.

- Make drugs legal to stop crime?! What kind of logic is this? Why not just legalize murder to reduce the crime rate? Drugs are a problem...even the so-called non-violent drugs. Stopping drug use is the answer, not legalizing drugs.

- Fantasia can sing...I don't like her music, but she has an amazing voice. And she slept with a married man...I can easily see how its possible she didn't know he was married or thought he was seperated (and he may well have been as we only have his former spouse's side of the story so far).

- Hire her back? This would not happen to a white man or woman. They would be gone with no apologies! What happened to the man she didn't give her the full effect of her services to? There is such a double standard. I fully support equality amount all races, but things are not equal.

- I'll take cancellation over sitting in a stifling plane anyday. The airlines can handle these situations if they just build the plans into their business plans. Instead, they want passengers to suffer with little or no consequences to them.

- I don't know if Lance doped or not. IMHO, he probably did, but...without evidence I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. Just cause everyone else did it and he beat them doesn't make him guilty.
